Valle Nevado

The Ski Area Valle Nevado from Santiago, Chile, has acquired from Telemet Sudamérica a new PistenBully 200 Park Bully, model 2008. Its delivery is planned for the beginning of June to start using the machine this coming winter season.

PB200 Park Bully model is the snow-grooming machine of greater demand for works that contemplate snowboard/terrain parks and the traditional slope work. It covers a wider area, it climbs more and it pushes more snow while consuming less fuel, all this with the confidence of a Mercedes-Benz OM926LA motor of 330HP.

The fast release system of the front attachments and the support of the back attachments were improved. The new structures allow longer movements now. The peak height reach of the blade was increased in 40%. The pivot area of the blade is of 72° and the one of the tiller can achieve up to 106°. Another practical advantage of this equipment is that the blade can reach very low positions. Taking in consideration the pertinent security norms, the machine can be driven even with the tiller up and running, having perfect conditions for the preparation of halfpipes.

The cabin offers excellent visibility and functionality in all detail. The operator’s seat for example, provides an active suspension and a varied range of adjustments. All hydraulic controls are at the reach of the fingertips.

With this purchase, Valle Nevado continues the renovation process that began in 2007, making their snow-grooming fleet one of the most efficient and productive in the industry.
