Latitude 42º event organized by Telemet’s Snow Service Division at their partner ski area Hunter Mtn. Ski Bowl, was attended by more than 150 competitors in a weekend with more than 10.000 skiers and snowboarders.
The competitors, aspiring to win the Grand Prize of One Week all-inclusive at Ski Portillo for two people, arrived from all along the USA and Canada. There were three different disciplines: “rail jam”, “quarter pipe” and “big air”.
The classifications occurred during the day and the final series were during the night. Prizes per event (more than US$ 20,000 and dozens of equipments and accessories) and the Grand Prize were followed by a firework show. The winner of the event was Jean Denis Zicat from Quebec, Canada.
We thank Ski Portillo’s for their cooperation and Hunter Mtn. who allowed this project to become a big success.
Corralco Ski area has started an expansion process for which they have bought their first PistenBully PB300W snowgrooming machine.
